‘Freemans Bay Dental Centre’ was born in 2011 and very soon changed hands in early 2012 when Dr. Sandeep Nagpal took over this practice, which came with very low clientele generated by that time, but warm & welcoming state of the art practice, modern equipment including Digital X-Rays and Intra Oral Camera for interactive experiences & a beautiful interior. From there, he worked very hard to build up the practice, with his gentle, caring and professional skills & today we have a much bigger data base of very lovely clients, who have supported us through all these years.

Dr Sandeep Nagpal is the Principal Dentist & Director at Freemans Bay Dental. He has over 26 years of experience as a general dentist, out of which more than 19 years have been spent working as a dentist and looking after patients in New Zealand. He has been providing gentle and friendly dental care to local Ponsonby community since 2012. He strives to provide best professional dental care in an easy and calm manner to his patients. He’s popular for his kind and gentle chairside manners, among our loyal database of patients who don’t hesitate to thank him every time they get their treatment done. His calm and patient nature even puts nervous patients at ease in no time. He takes time to get to know you and your oral health to discuss all possible treatment options with you and thereafter guide you to the the best treatment option for you which suits your budget too.
Dr Nagpal gained Registration to Practice in New Zealand , after completing a Bridging course at the University of Otago, upon moving to New Zealand from New Delhi in 2004. He worked in a private practice in Auckland in 2006 before moving to a family dental practice in New Plymouth to experience the lifestyle of the regions in late 2007.
He managed to get very good patient experiences including both general and emergencies, in that practice in New Plymouth from 2007-2011, before moving back to Auckland in 2012 to finally own his practice. He fell in love with this practice at first sight and took over Freemans By Dental Centre in Jan 2012 and since then he’s been busy looking after his patients with that gentle touch and thorough care.
Dr. Nagpal is a member of Dental Council, Auckland Dental Association as well as New Zealand Dental Association. He continues to up-skill in the latest dental techniques and technology by involving in a range of conferences, workshops and courses, to be able to look after his patients to the best of his knowledge and skills.
