What to expect at your first visit?
Your first visit to our dental clinic is focused on understanding your oral health needs and making you feel comfortable.
Upon arrival, you would be asked to fill in a patient questionnaire to get to know your medical history and contact details.
All new patients at Freemans Bay Dental are booked in for a comprehensive examination appointment or full check-up & hygiene initial appointment in which we also discuss your dental history, your concerns and queries. We take time to get to know you & your dental needs well to be able to offer you the best options to maintain your beautiful smile. The dentist, thereafter, will provide and discuss with you the best treatment options for your smile.
We will offer you a written bespoke treatment plan – which will be unique & tailored to your specific needs and will also include treatment costs involved.
Are you nervous/anxious?
We often come across patients, who have not had very pleasant experience as a child and are quite nervous and anxious about their dental treatment but believe us, all of such patients end up becoming our regular long term patients.
Simple reason- we have very gentle and caring dentist who won’t rush you up during the appointment and would discuss with you all your concerns and your anxiety levels. We assure you that times have changed and we offer pain free, gentle dentistry with modern technology and pain management techniques. We also offer, oral sedation to help you go through the appointment.
Our goal is to get each and every patient dentally fit and we offer complete care and comfort in achieving that goal.

Are you in a dental emergency?
We reserve 1-2 dental slots for dental emergencies everyday. These slots are available to accommodate patients with toothache or broken teeth causing pain or irritation due to sharp edges. Our dentist will attempt to get you out of pain on the same day however depending upon the severity of the condition, sometimes antibiotics and painkillers may be the only immediate treatment possible.
We offer emergency consult with 1 X-Ray for $89 only, though additional charges may apply if any further tests or additional X-Ray is required for the purpose of diagnosis. Please advise if it’s an emergency needing attention on the same day or if you require the appointment within next few days.
